Family Therapy
Bridging the Gap

Every family goes through challenging times. Stress from navigating life transitions, parenting, divorce, death, grief, addiction, and/or mental health issues can add up and take a serious toll.

I’ve been there. I know what it’s like. Personally, I know the way in which unexpected tragedy can disrupt and dismantle a family system in what seems like life-long, indelible, and intractable ways. Professionally, I have walked with countless families as they navigate issues related to a family member’s addiction and/or mental illness.

Whatever issue you and your family may be facing, you don’t have to have all the answers right now, and you don’t have to face it alone. Together, through the process of family therapy, we’ll work towards establishing healthier patterns of relating where everyone feels heard, valued, and connected.

Our work together will be more than just solving problems, “fixing” what’s broken and airing grievances. We will focus on healing and deepening your connection with each other. Together we’ll discover and understand the history and dynamics that shape and define your family, address the issues that make you feel stuck and disconnected, and learn how to heal from past hurts. We’ll also highlight your strengths and resilience as a family and honor the gifts that carry you through the rough patches.

No matter how stuck and overwhelmed you feel, I’m here to walk beside you. My goal is to help you create a bridge so you can move from a world of repeated conflict, silence, and misunderstanding to a place of empathy, understanding, and renewed family connections.
